Solemnity: Mary, Mother of GOD

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son" Jn. 3:16. In the liturgical year of the Catholic Calendar, January 1 marks a significant celebration: The Solemnity of Mary as the Holy Mother of God, exactly one week after Christmas. The First Marian Feast.

God really loves the world that He chooses be with us and save us from our sins. Let us not forgot to Thank Mother Mary for Her total obedience to the call of the Father to conceive a Son, and will redeem all sinners. Through Mary who is full of Grace, and blessed among women, we can receive Jesus. Don't be confused of the title "Mother of God" Mary is not older than God, rather we say that Mary is the mother of God in the sense that she carry a divine person in her womb who Jesus Christ, God "in the Flesh"
