Advent is all about waiting. The gospel of Mark today begins with the prophecy of Isaiah.
John the Baptist is certainly one of our heroes in the season of Advent.
On this second Sunday of Advent, we are being reminded by the Church, the waiting for the first coming (birth)of Jesus and waiting for the second coming, the last day. and hopefully we shall be "found without spot or blemish before Him" Blessed Sunday to all!
